AddressWe are a small but dynamic, and very friendly family-owned funeral company seeking someone special to join our team of dedicated staff. We pride ourselves in being able to provide a dignified and respectful funeral at a sensible cost.
The person we are looking for would be required to assist our Funeral Directors. Previous experience in a Funeral Home is preferred.
Ideally this person would have a great rapport with the many and varied clients from all socio-demographic backgrounds as well as with our lovely team of staff.
The position would be casual. Hours of operation are 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
The position requires someone who excels in the following areas:
- Professional, friendly, personable and empathetic phone manner as well as excellent customer service skills.
- Well-groomed personal presentation.
- Organisational skills and ability to anticipate tasks and work independently.
- Having a calming influence for families to rely on to handle their loved one’s funeral arrangements. Empathetic and caring whilst highly professional.
- Working in a fast-paced environment, working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- The ability to use own initiative and being comfortable making independent decisions, whilst working collaboratively in a supportive team.
- The ability to manage privacy, confidentiality, and sensitive information in a professional manner.
- Dedication to providing the type of service the family requires and that upholds our 5-star reputation.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo our pre-employment process, which includes a Police Check, and a full Medical Disclosure.
