The offsider’s role involves moving furniture and other items in and out of properties, loading in and out of trucks, and assisting with other tasks on jobs as needed. Although we sometimes need to work hard, we also work smart to get the job done as efficiently and as safely as possible. The work schedule and hours can vary week to week (depending on bookings) so some flexibility is necessary, but ultimately we book jobs to suit the availability of our team.
This is a job that can provide good pay and a lifestyle for anybody willing to do some physical work. There is also an opportunity for people who stay with the business to take on more responsibilities over time.
About you
We’re looking for honest, reliable people with a positive attitude who can meet the requirements below:
- Physically fit and able to lift/carry heavy items
- Willing to learn and follow directions
- Have your own reliable transport and driver's license
- Have your own ABN (or are willing to get one)
Prior experience with similar work is beneficial but not necessary as you will be taught everything you need to know on the job.
Availability on weekends and/or for multi-day interstate jobs is also highly desirable (accommodation is provided while traveling).
