The Melbourne University Futsal Club is looking for Futsal Referees for our bi-annual Friday Night League. Our esteemed competition runs weekly on Friday nights on the astro turf pitch located adjacent to Melbourne University Sport's Nona Lee Sports Centre, and is scheduled to re-commence on the 8th of March.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Futsal Referee with verifiable references is highly recommended. Candidates that demonstrate a holistic knowledge of the game through extensive previous playing experience, and/or have acquired similar experience officiating soccer matches may be considered, providing they successfully complete a trial match to the standards expected by the club. Irrespective of their previous experience, every candidate will be required to acknowledge that they have read and understood the 'Friday Night League Rules and Conditions of Play'. Every candidate must possess a visa that permits employment in Australia.
Period of Employment:
This is a casual, rostered position, available to prospective candidates on every Friday from March 8th until May 24th. Fixture times will be released several days before the commencement of the first Match Day; although the expected time of play is 5.30pm until 9pm.
Salary:
- $20 per match (36 mins + 4 mins halftime) - Estimated nightly earnings $60-$120
