Contract: Full-time, ongoing

Location: Melbourne, Docklands

Salary Level: $88,339 - $101,590 plus 17% super and great benefits!

The Future Skills suite of educational offerings is centered around bridging the skills gap in the Australian workforce particularly in the digital, business, IT, care and clean economy industries.

About your next role

We are seeking a Future Student Enquiries Team Leader to play a pivotal role in implementing the recruitment plans of Monash College Future Skills' Marketing and Business Development teams. Focused on exceeding customer expectations and meeting sales targets, this role engages proactive sales strategies and service initiatives to achieve outcomes.

The Future Student Enquiries Team Leader also provides leadership and direction to a Future Student Enquiries Officer and would be required to work between 12pm - 8pm on Tuesday & Thursday and 9am - 5pm on Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

Your background and experience

You are highly competent in understanding customer needs and providing solutions to meet the customer’s goals. Ideally you will also have:

  • Proven experience in lead management, providing exemplary customer support through various channels, such as phone, email and social media (previous experience in the Education system is highly desirable)
  • Substantial experience managing the sales pipeline
  • Strong track record in sales, consistently meeting and exceeding targets and objectives.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Advanced computer literacy with experience in the use of CRM software and related application capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to work independently with minimal supervision as well as contributing to a team dynamic
  • Competent in identifying areas of improvement in the sales process and implementing strategies to optimise conversion rates, which may involve refining sales scripts, improving objection handling techniques, or streamlining the buying process.
  • Experience in staff supervision including an ability to monitor work effectively and provide mentor support
