Job Description: FX Settlement specialist

Job Type: Full Time / On-site

Location: Sydney, Australia

Reporting to: Head of operation

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily settlements of incoming and outgoing payments with various cut off times
• Working closely with Compliance on payment screening and post-transaction monitoring, ensuring all policies are adhered to
• Investigating and resolving payment issues
• Working with stakeholders to continuously look for ways to improve the efficiency of internal procedures
• Understanding AUSTRAC IFTI DRA lodgment requirements and regulations to ensure regulatory obligations are met in a timely and accurate manner.
• Responsible for derivative transaction reporting to ASIC through third party providers
• Liaising with the Head Office finance team on daily reconciliation of bank accounts. 
• Evaluating the rollout of any developments and managing workflow changes with internal and external teams
• Participating in new projects as a Subject Matter Expert and ensuring new procedures are implemented seamlessly into daily operations
• Exposure to International Payments platforms and associated technologies, applications, and standards, such as SWIFT, ISO20022 and AMH (Alliance Messaging Hub)

Requirements

• 3 years experiences in similar role preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with other departments
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel skills in particular)
