Job Description & Summary
About Us
Our CFO Advisory (CFOA) team solves the most important financial management problems that CFOs face, working alongside them as like-minded finance professionals. We help our clients meet their objectives and manage risks by developing practical solutions and building trust in effective decision-making to help drive financial sustainability and commercial outcomes.
Finance has never been more relevant to strategy and success. Finance functions traditionally played a largely transactional, back office role. They're now expected to stand side by side on the front line of the organisation as a strategic partner.
About the Opportunity
In the CFO Advisory team, you'll find yourself in a culture that values humility, courage and realism. Alongside your peers, you'll evaluate how well controls mitigate key financial risks, optimise finance processes, and bring data and digital thinking to improve financial insight. Along the way, you'll build relationships and skills to set you up for a lifetime of success.
What will a normal day look like? Well, you can count on that every day you will:
Understand root causes of pain points in finance functions and optimise business processes
Provide perspectives on internal controls to enhance management of our clients' financial risks
Transform clients' finance functions and optimise financial reporting
As a graduate in CFO Advisory, the top skills you'll need to hit the ground running are:
Curiosity, problem-solving and critical thinking
Enjoy working in a team and strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
Strong data management and spreadsheet skills
Anticipated start dates are 2 December 2024 and 13 January 2025.
Your New Benefits
Flexible daily working hours for a work-life balance that suits you
Work overseas or interstate for that precious time with your family and friends
Paid study (and leave!), we'll pay all the costs and give you time off to study
No dress code so you can feel comfortable and dress for your day
A competitive starting salary package with the opportunity for yearly bonuses
Health & fitness perks like a wellness stipend and discounted memberships
More family time with 26 weeks paid parental leave policy for mums, dads and foster carers
