JOB DESCRIPTION

The Marquis Hotel is seeking an experienced Gaming/Bar supervisor to join the team, take the next step in your career working within a family run venue.

You will be an integral part of the team, reporting to the Hotel Manager. Leading the team from the front, you will be responsible for supervising day-to-day operations and providing a high level of customer service to our patrons.

  • Opens and Closes
  • People Management and Leadership skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Gaming and Keno experience essential
  • Knowledge of Bar and Food service
  • Cash handling and balancing experience
  • Outgoing, cheerful, confident personality
  • Flexible availability
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to learn new skills/procedures quickly
  • Works well within a team
  • Can work independently

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $50,000.00 – $79,761.18 per year

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

  • Hospitality: 2 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • RCG (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • West Hobart, TAS 7000 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • West Hobart, TAS 7000: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person
