WE ARE:
The Newmarket Tavern is made up of a number of different departments which include an International Bar, Gaming Room, Public Bar, TAB, and Bottleshop. We are able to offer you a variety in your working schedule, with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a wide scope of roles within our venue. The Newmarket Tavern provides customers with a fantastic menu and a wide selection of beverages. You’d be working in a newly renovated venue with more exciting changes to come!
YOU ARE:
Able to work flexible hours anywhere from 16 to 30 hours per week. These hours may be rotating between Day, Afternoon or Graveyard shifts as well as being available on weekends. We are looking for potential employees who are able to work in our TAB and Gaming departments and therefore are required have to following accreditations:
- RSG (Responsible Service of Gambling) Modules 1 & 2.
- Gaming Industry Employee Licence.
- TAB Basics and TAB Compliance Certificates.
- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certificate.
- Food Safety Course
You will need to be able to fulfil assigned tasks and have certain skills depending on the position or shift you are working. Luckily, we have a great team who take on a friendly approach to showing new staff members the ropes!
