ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Implement modern horticulture work methods, maintain garden beds, keep a clean work environment, and apply pesticides.
- Driving and operating equipment and mowing grass
- Give apprentices on-the-job training, perform landscape improvement work, attend meetings, and keep proper records in the Council's electronic records management system.
- Help to ensure the Moreland Continuous Improvement system is implemented effectively.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Experience in horticulture work for parks and garden maintenance purposes
- Must have Certificate 3 in Gardening or equivalent
- Must have First Aid Certificate
- Must have Victorian Car Driving Licence
- Must have Police Check
