Bethanie Waters Lifestyle Village is home to 167 Independent Villas and is accompanied by an established Clubhouse and beautifully landscaped surrounding gardens located in Port Kennedy.
As a Gardener/ Maintenance Worker, you will be predominately providing gardening services to the 167 villas of the village and maintain all surrounding common areas to the facilities.
This rewarding position will fulfil your interest in providing a supportive and compassionate service to a community style Lifestyle Village and give something back to the community.
This role is currently being offered on a permanent full time basis working Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. You will have access to a Bethanie golf buggy and a trailer with tools.
About the Role:
- A broad range of gardening and general maintenance tasks, across both building and equipment
- Respond quickly and effectively to maintenance requests
- Maintain adequate records of all maintenance performed
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
- Take initiative, with a ‘can do’ attitude
About You:
- Previous experience within garden & lawn maintenance & operating maintenance equipment is essential
- Previous experience working in lifestyle villages is desirable
- Current manual drivers licence, and ability to drive with a trailer is essential
- Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate to clients and staff
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Ability to identify work place safety, and operate in a safe manner
- Current police clearance, or willingness to apply for one
- Willingness to obtain required vaccinaitons – 3x covid and annual flu vaccinations
