About the role
The Senior Disability Support Maintenance Worker will provide leadership and guidance to the team to provide Gardening and outdoor maintenance services. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of a ‘best practice’ all abilities maintenance program. You will be arranging services for customers and rostering the delivery of services and ensuring high quality delivery. This position is full time reporting to the Green Team – Team Leader, located in the Ararat / Ballarat region.
About you
You will hold a Certificate IV in Disability or Community Services and have demonstrated experience providing support to individuals with a Disability. Along with your disability expertise, if you have a knowledge and passion for the outdoors, nature and gardening be experienced in leading a team to achieve outcomes and an expert in customer service. You will be dealing with a diverse range of stakeholder in this unique role.
Requirements
Certificate IV in Disability or other Community Services related qualifications.
Knowledge and interest in gardening and outdoor maintenance.
Excellent team leadership skills ability to develop and upskill staff
Outstanding Customer Service and problem-solving skills.
Current First Aid Certificate
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Valid Victorian Drivers Licence
