About the role
SHAPE has recently been awarded multiple commercial new build projects in the Gold Coast. Due to this, we have created an exciting new opportunity for a born organiser who can manage trades and keep sites safe, be productive and on track to perfect delivery. If you're an experienced General Foreman with Structures experience and want to join a growing New Build team while working locally, then come aboard. As we continue to expand and increase opportunities, we can help fast-track your ambitions and make it happen for you.
In this role, we look to you to:
- understand the scope, contract and project time frames
- establish the site in accordance with relevant WHS requirements
- induct subcontractors and site employees
- deliver daily and fortnightly programmes
- coordinate the trades and sequencing of work
- manage the subcontractors and staff, ensuring quality and safety
- record daily site activities in the site diary
- coordinate defect rectification

About you
- trade and/or safety qualifications
- great communicator, leader and team builder
- ability to build and maintain relationships
- experience as a Leading Hand or equivalent within the building industry
- flexibility, adaptability and the ability to problem-solve
- knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Project
- willingness to be part of a safety-first
