Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Hand to support our facilities services team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining and ensuring the functionality of various facilities. This is a hands-on position that involves performing a wide range of tasks to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of our clients' properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine basic maintenance tasks, such as repairing fixtures, equipment, and systems.
Conduct general cleaning and upkeep of facilities, including pressure washing.
Assist in minor repairs and carpentry work.
Handle waste disposal and recycling activities.
Maintain outdoor spaces, including some garden maintenance
Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment for events or activities.
Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Support the team with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
