The Role:

We are expanding our team and looking for motivated General Labourers to join our projects on the Ausgrid and Endeavour networks. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in the electrical field, as ARA HV will provide all the necessary training. You’ll be part of a team executing critical infrastructure projects, requiring a willingness to undertake physical work, drive HR/MR trucks, and occasionally work outside regular hours.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual tasks such as excavating around services, laying conduit, installing cable, and setting up padmount substations, pillars, and street lighting.
• Work effectively within a team environment to complete projects efficiently.
• Operate HR/MR trucks as required for project needs.
• Maintain a strong attention to detail and uphold safety standards at all times.
• Be prepared to work in various conditions, getting dirty and engaging in physical labor.
• Available for weekend, night, and overtime work as needed by specific projects.

Requirements:

• No previous experience required; training will be provided.
• MUST possess a White Card and a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to drive HR/MR trucks.
• Strong work ethic and a safety-conscious mindset.
• Ability to work in team settings and adapt to varying work environments.
