The RoleThe General Ledger Assistant Accountant leads General Ledger Officers and assists the General Ledger and Assets Accountant with providing effective, customer-focused and timely General Ledger services to clients.
You will also have staff supervision experience, well-developed communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as good conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to solve difficult problems.
To be successful in this role you will have well-developed knowledge of General Ledger and accounting concepts, the Financial Management Act and Treasurer’s Instructions and the ability to interpret and apply such knowledge as necessary.
