General Manager Manufacturing

Reporting to the CEO, this newly created position will take responsibility for driving Group level changes across all areas of manufacturing.

In this position you will lead a team of approximately 250 staff producing high quality food products for the Australian consumer.

Key deliverables for this role:

• Lead manufacturing delivering cost efficiencies
• Deliver operational efficiencies through quality improvements and cost management
• Drive an environment of continuous improvement
• Support the consolidation of production resources to optimise cost-base and deliverables
• Work hand-in-hand with the Finance team to deliver strong robust budgets
• Build strong succession pipelines through the upskilling of your leaders

You will have:

• A background in senior leadership roles within perishable food production environments
• Experience leading in SME environments (circa sub $500mil revenue)
• Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiencies in a similar environment
• Strong operational skills working to the principles of LEAN.
• An approach in your leadership style that see you just as comfortable working on a production line as you are in the boardroom
