We are looking for a General ManagerAged Care to provide strategic and operational leadership to the Residential Aged Care operations, ensuring high-quality care and services that contribute to the wellbeing, independence, dignity, and safety of residents. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the GM Aged Care will be an integral member of the senior leadership team with a focus on monitoring, managing and reporting against operational and business functions of our Residential Aged Care operations. With a skilled and qualified Clinical Leadership team already focused on the care and clinical outcomes for residents; the GM Aged Care will have as their focus the operational performance, working with the Aged Care Leadership Team (ACLT) to ensure day-to-day efficiency and long-term sustainability. The key focus of the role will be to: Provide Strategic guidance and leadership to the ACLT on operational performance to ensure MCWA continues to provide high quality Aged Care services. Oversee the development of Aged Care budgets and support the ACLT to monitor their ongoing financial performance, investigating any variance or areas of concern. Oversee the CAPEX budget and expenditure for the business unit, and coordinate the acquisition and supply activities in collaboration with the ACLT. Review and coordinate operating procurement activities to ensure preferred supplier relationships in key spend categories, whilst driving cost savings. Manage, monitor and review internal and outsourced services in Catering, Cleaning, Laundry and all other non-clinical services related to the Aged Care to ensure agreed performance targets are achieved. Responsible for delivery of project outcomes of an operational nature. Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Standards, funding agreements and relevant legislation as it relates to this role. About you
We are seeking a General Manager with a proven track record of overseeing a business unit operational performance and identifying and implementing efficient and sustainable changes without negatively impacting service delivery. The successful candidate will have the ability to think strategically, identify areas for improvement and possess exceptional interpersonal skills to bring the ACLT on a journey of operational performance improvement.
