Lead Strategic Plan and Price Submission
Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) is Australia’s largest rural water corporation responsible for storing, managing and delivering water across most of northern Victoria. GMW’s role in delivering reliable, affordable water drives the regional economy and underpins its collective prosperity.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the General Manager Strategy & Services Planning will form a critical part of the executive team helping bring the vision to reality. Leading your division, you will strive to ensure GMW provides value to its customers and is valued and trusted by the community. You will lead the development and implementation of the Services Planning Strategy and the Organisational strategic direction, across the whole organisation. You will work in partnership with the executive team and Board to define business strategy and drive improvement projects and plans to secure assets for future sustainability and viable customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for forward planning service requirements, as well as future asset design and management information delivery/data governance, ensuring GMW makes long term sustainable decisions focused on efficency and financial sustainability. Importantly, will facilitate and lead the GMW strategic plan, pricing submission, corporate plan and transformation program management.
As a highly regarded leader with solid strategic experience, you will be tertiary qualified ideally in business administration, resource management or engineering. Your extensive technical expertise in operational services planning or asset management, including the development and implementation of strategies, systems and transformational projects will underpin your ability to be successful in this role. You have proven ability to achieve best practice through process innovation, benchmarking and continuous improvement activities in service delivery for the benefit of customers. Furthermore, you are an articulate and resilient leader with strong commercial acumen, sound influencing and negotiating skills and recognised for your ability to build credible relationships with key stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes for the community, stakeholders and the business.
