Casual or permanent full time for the right applicant.

Freshford Nurseries is a family owned wholesale nursery based in the Adelaide Hills - Kenton Valley and Cudlee Creek areas. We specialise in growing native and exotic advanced trees.

We pride ourselves on our quality stock and exceptional service.

We are currently looking for a person to join our team as a General Nursery Hand.

Personal Requirements:

• Strong work ethic
• Reliable & punctual
• Good time management
• Physically fit and healthy as the job requires heavy lifting
• Current drivers license. 
• Able to follow instructions & meet production targets
• Work well in a team or as an individual
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Nursery experience not necessary but you must be willing to learn and show an interest in horticulture

Work/Tasks:

• General Nursery Hand tasks such as watering, weeding & spraying
• Plant maintenance - pruning & staking
• Potting both hand & machine
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Operating tractors
• Irrigation
• Propagation
• Occasional weekend watering shifts required over summer

Some flexibility around hours if you study can be negotiated.
