Located in the heart of Canberra, we provide trusted holistic healthcare to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities of the ACT and surrounding areas. We have a great multidisciplinary clinical team including 6 GPs, visiting specialists, nurses, allied health specialists and admin support.
We now need more GPs to meet the needs of the community. This is a great opportunity to directly contribute to closing the gap on health outcomes for First Nations people.
Features of the clinical work:
- Wide variety of general practice work in our recently purpose-built clinic at Narrabundah
- Drug and alcohol focus
- Opportunity to work in the local prison
- Working hours are weekdays 9 am – 5 pm (no after hours).
You must have the following:
- Full work rights in Australia
- Fellow with RACGP or ACRRM
- Specialist registration with AHPRA
- Strong interest in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
