AddressWe are currently seeking General Practitioners who are interested in aged care to join our team of medical practitioners to provide primary care services to Residential Aged Care Facilities across various locations around Australia.
VR GP Rate: $180 per hour
Non-VR GP Rate: $160 per hour
Please find list below of locations and dates for both General and Specialist Registration positions.
VR Doctor:
Darwin, NT region
- Ideally based in Darwin, NT.
- Areas to cover:
- Tiwi – 30 residents
- 8 hours per week (1 day – Tuesdays)
Dalmeny, NSW region
- Ideally based in or around Dalmeny, NSW
- Areas to cover are:
- Dalmeny – 20 residents
- Batemans Bay – 10 residents in total
- Merimbula – 2 residents
- 8 hours per week (1 day - Mondays)
Shoalhaven, NSW region
- Ideally based in or around St Georges Basin, NSW
- Areas to cover are:
- St Georges Basin – 45 residents
- 8 hours per week (1 day - Thursdays)
Wollongong, NSW region
- Ideally based in Wollongong or Shellharbour, NSW
- Areas to cover are:
- Woonona – 30 residents (Thursdays)
- Horsley – 20 residents (Thursdays)
- Unanderra – 19 residents (Thursdays)
- Shellharbour – 5 (Tuesdays)
- 8 hours per week (1 day – for Woonona and Horsley), 12 hours per week (1.5 days – Unanderra and Shellharbour)
Central Coast, NSW region
- Ideally based in Central Coast, NSW or Newcastle, NSW or in north Sydney if don’t mind the travel every 4 – 6 weeks.
- Areas to cover:
- Kanwal – 50 residents
- Toukley – 30 residents
- Belmont – 1 resident
- Redhead – 10 residents
- 24 hours per week (3 days)
Port Macquarie, NSW region
- Ideally based in Port Macquarie or Newcastle, NSW if don’t mind the travel every 4 – 6 weeks.
- Areas to cover:
- Port Macquarie – 31 residents
- Coffs Harbour – 3 residents
- Taree – 10-15 residents
- 12 hours per week (1.5 days – Monday mornings and Fridays)
Parkes, NSW region
- Ideally based in Parkes, NSW or in Dubbo, NSW or Condobolin, NSW if don’t mind the travel every 4 – 6 weeks.
- Areas to cover:
- Dubbo – 10 residents
- Parkes – 5 residents
- Condobolin – 50 residents
- 16 hours per week (2 days – Mondays and Tuesdays)
Non-VR Doctor / GP Registrar:
Darwin, NT region
- Ideally based in Darwin, NT.
- Areas to cover:
- Tiwi – 30 residents
- 8 hours per month (Tuesdays)
Port Macquarie, NSW region
- Ideally based in Port Macquarie or Newcastle, NSW if don’t mind the travel every 4 – 6 weeks.

- Port Macquarie – 31 residents

- Ideally based near Brisbane
- Areas to cover:
- Brisbane – 21 residents
- 6 – 8 hours per month (Tuesdays)
Sunshine Coast, QLD region
- Ideally based near Moreton Bay
- Areas to cover:
- Caboolture – 57 residents
- 8 hours per month (Tuesdays)
