About the Role:
Murgon Family Medical Practice are seeking a GP to join their practice on a remote, part-time basis.
The GP is welcome to Work Remotely via Telehealth into the practice, taking advantage of the practice's latest telehealth equipment. The successful applicant does not need to live in the area and Murgon Family Medical Practice are happy to discuss flexible/part-time arrangements.
Applicants must have access to a computer for video telehealth and will be required to attend a two-week orientation to familiarise themselves within the community. Accommodation for this this two-week orientation period will be covered by the practice.
Practice Information:
This is a welcoming medical practice within a close-knit community, located in the peaceful and scenic South Burnett region.
The practice is also visited by allied health services providers on a regular basis: Podiatrist, Mental Health Nurse, Clinical Psychologist, Healthy Sleep Solutions, Dietitian, Occupational Therapist, Audiometry and Speech Therapists. The practice is also linked with nearby Exercise Physiologists, Naturopaths and Physiotherapists.
Patient profile:
The practice current has 8637 active patients (seen within the last 2 years). Of these patients, 682 identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander.

Qualifications & Experience:
Applicants must hold the necessary qualifications from AHPRA to provide rural general practice.
Salary Information: Negotiable (based on experience & qualifications).
