About the role
Permanent and fixed term temporary full time or part time opportunities available.
- Contributing to the delivery of high quality, culturally appropriate Sexual Health clinical care (incorporating comprehensive management of HIV, sexually transmitted infections, public health, genital dermatology, gender care, sexual dysfunction and viral hepatitis) in a specialist environment working within a multidisciplinary model of care as a physician with a scope of clinical practice as a GPwSI
- Provision of high quality, culturally appropriate Sexual Health clinical care (incorporating comprehensive management of HIV, sexually transmitted infections, public health, genital dermatology, gender care, sexual dysfunction and viral hepatitis) working within a multidisciplinary model of care.
- Provide for the needs of patients within the public outpatients' system referred for HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) with HIV infection and symptomatic patients with a HIV or Sexual Health condition.
- To facilitate holistic patient care by utilising expertise, perspectives, and resources of practitioners from both primary and secondary care.
About you

- Prepare appropriate correspondence for communication of appointment outcomes.
- Undertake training in the use of Metro North IT systems required for recording the patient interaction.
- Follow defined service quality standards, occupational Health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Maintain data quality and manage all information in accordance with legislation, standards, policies and procedures.
- Implement and monitor the organisation's quality standards, occupational Health and safety policies, procedures and programs and provide clinical governance in the relevant work area.
