We are currently recruiting for a full time or part time Psychologist Provisional or General, to work in our Canberra clinic.

The Personnel Group - Health team are qualified health professionals located in the inner west and northern suburbs of Melbourne as well as some parts of Regional Victoria, New South Wales and the ACT. 

We are currently recruiting for a full time or part time Psychologist Provisional or General, to work in our Canberra clinic. 

We offer individual psychology counselling sessions and conduct a range of assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.

We accept participants on NDIS self-managed and plan managed, in addition to Medicare and private patients. 

We are seeking a clinician who is self-motivated, with a passion for helping participants achieve their goals, and who is excited about working within a multi-disciplinary team. We are open to qualified candidates with all levels of experience.


The role

Working with participants aged from 5 years with a range of presentations including, but not limited to; autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, personality disorders and Trauma. You will have the ability to assess their needs, design and implement individual therapy plans and support them towards achieving their goals.  You will see participants for appointments in our clinic rooms, at their school or over telehealth.

We also support our participants with a range of assessments including cognitive, psychometric and personality assessments as well as provide training to conduct autism diagnostic assessments.

You will liaise with a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with participant’s families, medical practitioners, schools, and allied health professionals as required. You will complete case management notes and report writing for your participants.

KPIs are based on participant outcomes being achieved. There are no KPIs on billable hours. 

Our administration team will manage your calendars and invoicing, so you can focus on what you do best!

What are we looking for? 

  • Current registration with AHPRA.  
  • Experience in working with clients with disabilities is highly regarded 
  • Experience in working with participants who are neurodivergent is highly regarded.  
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake research, analyse information and prepare associated reports. 
  • Well-developed written communication skills with the ability to provide high quality professional reports and case notes. 
  • Well-developed verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse client group and to effectively communicate with stakeholders in a manner appropriate to the audience. 
  • NDIS Workers screening check is essential.
