AddressJackson Motor Company (JMC) has a great opportunity for an experienced, proactive and knowledgeable General Sales Manager to join the team at our Devonport dealership.
About the Role:
In this diverse role, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced GSM who has the industry knowledge and experience to lead our sales team to new heights, by providing exceptional customer service, while building lasting relationships that lead to the continued growth of our Devonport dealership.
About You:
Ideally, you will have had at least 5 years in automotive sales, both in new and used vehicle sales. You will be an organised and methodical leader, able to inspire both staff and customers alike.
Key Responsibilities and Requirement’s:
- A calm, considered and professional manner
- Able to building and maintain relationships with customers and staff
- Monthly review of departmental results, actual to budget and KPI achievement
- Confident in your ability to oversee, mentor and manage Retail, Fleet and Pre-Owned vehicle departments and their respective teams
- Provide a harmonious, motivated and productive operating environment for sales staff.
- Work with Sales Managers and sales staff on techniques to increase the new and used car gross, and customer order to enquiry ration
- Ensure each department meets or exceeds sales targets and industry KPI's
- Understands the Company vision to lead by example, exceed our customer's expectations and create a great team culture
- Be customer service focused, knowing that customers are our business
- Be an open communicator and great listener
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
