Located in the heart of Essendon, The Victorian Psychology Clinic is a private psychology practice, providing services to adolescents and adults presenting with high prevalence disorders, as well as Eating Disorders and Trauma.
The Victorian Psychology Clinic is a relatively new practice and is continuing to expand. It's a great time to join our team! Directed by Clinical Psychologists, Dr Shara Granger and Melanie McInneny, VPC values the provision of quality, evidence based psychological treatment to our clients and to maintain a practice known for quality, ethical practice and clinical skill.
Both Shara and Melanie have worked as Senior Psychologists over their careers and continue to foster a work culture that’s engaging, inviting and inspiring. We love what we do and have created a workplace where we work hard but also enjoy having a laugh and bouncing ideas off one another. VPC currently has a wide range of referral networks including GPs, word of mouth, and other allied health practitioners and plan to continue expanding.
New graduates are welcome to apply as both Melanie and Shara are board approved supervisors.
What The Victorian Psychology Clinic is looking for:
The role is currently offered as a subcontractor role and is currently available anywhere from 1 day to Full Time.

This role is suited to a range of psychologists; whether you’re an experienced psych who has another public health role, a psych looking to start or return to private practice, or a new graduate looking for a supportive and friendly environment.
Essential Requirements for Candidates
- A psychologist with a Masters or Doctorate would be preferred
- Professional and public indemnity insurance
- Registration with AHPRA
- Eligible to provide services under Medicare.
- An ABN or be eligible to get one
Additional Information for Potential Candidates
- VPC is looking for a warm and engaging psychologist who has the capacity to work with clients both short and long term.
- We have a wide range of referrals at VPC - An interest in high prevalence disorders and eating disorders would be highly valued but not essential.
