Mandalay Resources Costerfield Operation is 50km east of Bendigo. Bendigo is a vibrant city and home to approximately 120,000 residents. Bendigo has an impressive mining history and boasts a thriving arts and cultural precinct.

About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Geology Manager. Supported by a dedicated team of Geologists and Technicians, you will be instrumental in overseeing the seamless provision of Geological services to our operation. As Geology Manager you will:
- Provide exceptional leadership and direction to the Exploration, Mine Geology and Resource definition teams that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
- Utilise your deep technical knowledge to oversee Geological activities and develop efficient work practices that maximise resources.
- Maintain and focus on the extensive Near Mine and Regional Exploration work currently underway with the aim of growing Mineral Reserves.
- Ensure accurate Geological information and support is provided to operational teams to enable optimized production planning.
- Evaluate and mitigate risks as they relate to your expertise, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, traditional owners, community members and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and communicate technical information effectively.
About You
- Bachelors Degree in Geoscience.
- Minimum 15 years postgraduate experience relevant to the role with at least 5 of those years in a position of leadership.
- Strong technical expertise in exploration techniques, including geophysics, geochemistry, and drilling.
- Established history of Mineral Resource growth through exploration.
- Experience in underground narrow vein mining and exploration is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
