Position Overview
As the Geoscience Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective operation of our Geoscience Centre. You will lead a talented team, oversee data processing and delivery and collaborate closely with operations to uphold our high standards of data collection. Additionally, you will work alongside our Chief Scientist to drive innovation and testing of new technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the geoscience team and allocate tasks effectively
- Oversee data processing and quality control procedures
- Generate reports on work completed and data quality
- Provide feedback, guidance and training to team members
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience as a professional geoscientist
- Extensive experience with wireline logging data and WellCad
- Senior level televiewer interpretation skills
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and time management skills
- Previous experience managing projects and teams
- Familiarity with mine geology and high computer literacy
