GfK Market Research is currently looking for Helpline operators to work in our North Sydney office on a Project within the long-running National Radio Ratings Survey

THIS IS NOT A SALES OR INTERVIEWING ROLE.

We are looking for reliable, self-motivators seeking regular casual work who are available at least 15-20 hours per week.  

This job suits applicants such as university students, self-employed, semi-retired, and parents working around school hours. The role is in GfK head office - North Sydney which is perfectly based within walking distance of train and bus public transport and offers dedicated work-stations plus kitchen and breakout areas. 

The Radio Ratings Helpline is a small team dedicated to helping members and ensuring highest quality KPIs for the Ratings project. Whilst previous Helpline / Call Centre experience is preferred, it is not essential. Full training is provided.

What we need from you:

  • 3-4 shifts per week (minimum 5 hours per shift)
  • Excellent communication skills, patience and support walking members through technical equipment set-up; incentive program queries etc.
  • Accurate record keeping of every Incoming / Outgoing phone call via in-house applications. Calls are made/received via Microsoft Teams using headsets.
  • Follow directions from the Team Leader to ensure weekly targets are completed within timeframes.

Applicants must have:

  • Availability to work 3-4 shifts per week (minimum 5 hours per shift)
  • National Police Check (we complete and pay for this process)
  • Good computer and technical skills including Excel; Network Folder navigation
  • A confident, friendly and professional communication style with the skill to engage well with people over the phone
  • Capacity to display empathy and patience
  • Mature social skills due to a healthy level of social awareness
  • Fluent and professional English language skills (both spoken and written)
