GIS & Asset Data Officer
Central Irrigation Trust (CIT) is a leading water irrigation infrastructure operator serving horticulture, industry, and household customers in the Riverland Region of South Australia.
CIT seeks a GIS and Asset Data Officer to join the business in Barmera with responsibilities for ensuring an Asset Dataset and asset information system to support integrated asset management. This role suits applicants with experience and knowledge in GIS and asset management who have good communication and technical skills, the ability to prioritise, plan and implement outcomes, and that understand the critical role water plays in supporting our customers.
Key accountabilities include accurate recording of assets into the Asset Management and Geographic Management Systems, data analysis and reporting, supporting implementation of the Asset Management Plan, administering the GIS and AMS and providing, advice, support and training to its users. The role works inclusively with other business units contributing to the smooth running of CIT’s operations.
As the successful candidate you will have a 3+ years industry experience. Your priority management, planning and decision-making skills will be excellent, and you will readily demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and problem solve with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders and you will hold a current ‘C’ class motor vehicle licence.
