We are partnered with a well-known utility organisation for the recruitment of 5 new GIS Data Editors.
The Roles
These 5 positions are contract roles, commencing over the coming weeks and will likely run until the end of 2024. All 5 roles are entry level positions - a great opportunity for someone with Tertiary qualifications in GIS (or a degree with a GIS component) who wants to get some great career experience.
You, and your new colleagues, will be primarily responsible for updating and editing asset data in a Geospatial Information System called GE Smallworld. You don't need to know this system though - if you have experience with other Geospatial Information Systems then you'll be able to learn this one.
These positions would operate on a Monday to Friday basis, working 37.5 hours per week, offering great hourly rates, and working for one of WA's best employers. More on them below…
Your Background
We are seeking candidates from a GIS background. Maybe you have Tertiary qualifications in GIS and want to build on your experience. Maybe you've completed a degree that had a GIS component (ie. Town Planning, Environmental Science). Maybe you have had industry experience in GIS and want to work for one of WA's best employers on an exciting new project.
You'll also need to supply a police clearance prior to starting and have unrestricted working rights.
