Platinum Glass Specialist Pty Ltd was founded in 2001 and has grown to become one of Sydney’s leading Frameless Glass Installers.
All of our glass is made locally and custom-built to meet our customer’s extremely high standards and specifications. All of our glass products are fully compliant with all relevant Australian Standards.
Current Opening:
This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week).
Position Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Measure, design and construct frameless glass balustrade, pools and shower screens.
- Drive trucks to installation sites, and unload mirrors, glass equipment, and tools.
- Lease with clients to book in jobs for installations.
- Operate core drills, saws and all power tools used on site safety.
- Set glass doors into frames, and bolt metal hinges, handles, locks, and other hardware to attach doors to frames and walls.
- Cut and attach mounting strips, metal or wood moldings, rubber gaskets, or metal clips to surfaces in preparation for mirror installation.
- Relevant Qualifications. Glass and Glazing Cert 3
- White Card
- Minimum 2 years experiences.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $85,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
