Job description

SafetyCulture is a customer and product led SaaS company with the purpose of helping frontline teams get better every day.

We are building a mobile-first operations platform that gives workers a voice, and leaders visibility, to make better decisions in the workplace every day. Our mission is to unite teams to become a force for improvement in any organisation.

Headquartered in Sydney, SafetyCulture has six offices around the world and over 70,000 customers.

The SafetyCulture Marketplace is a newly formed business where customers can source what they need, when they need it, to operate safely.

As part of our mission to make the workplace safer we have recognised our customers often need products or services to help them resolve issues and reduce risks in the workplace. This can be as simple as needing to order more masks to protect employees or as complex as a multi-disciplinary audit of a work environment. These actions are identified in our SafetyCulture app and the mission of the Marketplace team is to make it faster, cheaper and easier for our customers to complete these actions and have a safe work environment.

SafetyCulture Marketplace is global from day 1 and we are looking for our foundational leaders to work within an ambiguous environment to build an offering that delights our customers.

Recently valued at AU$2.7Bn, we're investing our resources into creating and shaping a better workplace for all. We are growing fast and looking for talented, self-motivated people that value collaboration, growth and learning to join our team.

What will I be doing?

  • You'll be the owner of the Personal Protective Equipment business within the Marketplace team, working closely with the Marketplace Leadership team to develop and grow all aspects of this part of the business globally.
  • You'll be responsible for managing the Personal Protective Equipment P&L, the supplier and stocking strategy for each region, and the Go To Market strategy.
  • You will be the subject matter expert for this part of the business and collaborate with other business units with SafetyCulture to help our customer operate this part of the business as effectively as possible.
  • You'll face exciting business challenges as we scale, and be an integral part of the global team.
  • High-performing teams here own their P&L, and you're trusted to build and run a business that serves 70K+ businesses, transforming the way that they interact with the products and processes their staff use to work safely and effectively.

The SafetyCulture platform has capabilities including training, inspections & lone worker safety that are constantly being evolved and expanded by hundreds of highly skilled software engineers - working with this amazing team to build a better, safer way of working is just part of the opportunity you will have to transform the industry.
