A global Oil & Gas organisation headquartered in Adelaide requires a Global Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture Manager for a permanent opportunity commencing ASAP. Your new role
In this exciting new role, you will be:
- Managing a small team of Solutions Architects.
- Providing a clear view of the technology direction and strategy for services such as Cloud, Network, Infrastructure, EUC and Service Management.
- Designing, Planning, Migrating and Implementing Infrastructure solutions.
- Creating or selecting the most appropriate architecture and technology to enable scalability, flexibility, agility, consolidation & optimisation involving the latest technology trends.
- Overseeing and ensuring solution designs meet standards and requirements.
- Delivering technology roadmaps for your portfolio.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application, you will need:
- Strong experience with IT Infrastructure & Cloud architecture, design, development and deployment.
- Demonstrated experience of managing, leading and developing a technical team.
- Experience using modern, enterprise applications and services in a large-scale environment.
- Proven experience with medium-large scale cloud adoption, including application readiness assessment, organisational change, and integration into a Service Management framework.
- Knowledge across Storage, Compute, Networking, Backup and Cloud (AWS and/or Azure).
- A tertiary education in Information Technology as well as AWS, Azure, TOGAF, Agile, Lean Six Sigma and ITIL certifications are highly beneficial.
- Prior experience working within the Energy, Oil & Gas or Mining sectors is advantageous.
