On any given day, you will

  • Collaborate and provide support in the development of the risk assessments and the Global Sanctions framework for the OFX Group,
  • Assist in the development, update and maintenance of standard operating procedures, templates and assessment methodology,
  • Provide sanctions expertise to complex matters and inquiries in APAC, EMEA and North America,
  • Conduct issue and incident reviews to ensure compliance with Group Policies and Procedures,
  • Provide support to ad-hoc projects, risk events and change management tasks,
  • Mentor, coach and support other Risk and Compliance and Operations colleagues on sanctions matters,
  • Maintain metrics with a focus of continual improvement,
  • Deliver insights and value to management committees and also to Boards and external parties as required,
  • Deliver the internal sanctions awareness program, including communication of sanctions trends and identity risks globally and organisation-wide awareness of sanctions programs, risks and controls,
  • Assist in the development and delivery of sanctions training of OFX staff,
  • As a member of the OFX Leadership Team:
  • Contribute to a strong compliance culture in OFX;
  • Actively collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and delivery of OFX strategic, business and operational plans;
  • Develop strong working relationships with other areas of the business, in particular the Legal function and the first line Client Due Diligence function.

Qualifications

We are interested in hearing from people who have

  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in sanctions compliance management in APAC, EMEA and North America (essential),
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the broader Financial Crime regulatory landscape - AML/CTF, Bribery & Corruption (preferred),
  • An understanding of operational risk and compliance frameworks,
  • A partnership approach, with excellent stakeholder management skills,
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills,
  • Experience in report writing and executive level briefing papers,
  • Degree qualified in Finance, Business, Law or relevant discipline (preferred),
  • Relevant industry accreditation or certificate (desirable).
