Leading their Policy and Government Relations team of seven professionals, your input and influence will contribute directly to the health and wellbeing of the community, whilst positively representing the member base as an advocate for change.
As part of a collegiate executive leadership team, you will:
- Generate and enact strategies to promote member services
- Build relationships across federal health, insurers and providers
- Identify opportunities to advance member and service delivery
- Drive team success across their respective portfolios
- Remove barriers and open doors to improve service effectiveness
- Partner and influence stakeholders including board and committees
- Provide direction and assist with driving innovation and opportunities
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly visible and influential team.
Knowledge of the Australian health sector and its funding avenues shall be invaluable. Your leadership experience will complement your excellent written and verbal communication skills refined via your primary health or health-based associations, government or health insurer experience.
You won’t be developing or delivering programs personally, however you will understand how to develop, interpret and refine strategies that provide tangible results.
