Golf Course Mechanic

Townsville Golf Club are looking for an enthusiastic mechanically minded person who enjoys working on a wide array of equipment.  Machinery includes diesel, petrol and electric motors, as well as several attachments. 

Skills for the role include but are not limited to:

• Knowledge in hydraulic systems, electrical and welding
• Ability to diagnose and repair diesel, petrol and electric engines
• Previous experience maintaining Golf Course equipment would be advantageous
• Good communication skills
• Able to work in a team environment
• Current driver’s license
• Willingness to engage in professional development and training
• Able to keep detailed records of works and servicing.

The salary will be negotiated in accordance with the successful applicant’s experience.

The position is on a full-time basis with weekend and overtime work available throughout the year.
