Located in the heart of Noosa, Noosa Springs Golf & Spa Resort consists of a championship golf course, boutique Golf Shop featuring leading fashion labels, world class spa, fitness centre, luxury accommodation, fine dining and function/conference facilities.
We are currently seeking an experienced and friendly retail professional to join our Golf Operations team. You will be responsible for assisting with all related golfing services including retail, golf bookings, corporate golf events and general member and guest enquiries. Whilst the role is predominantly retail focussed, ideally you will have an understanding of golf course etiquette, golf rules and handicapping.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Using computerised systems for management of golf bookings, tournament management and retail sales
- Assisting members and guests with equipment
- Involvement in conducting of golf events
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Golf Shop and surrounding areas
- Assist with retail purchases and merchandising of stock
- Ensure smooth running of Golf Shop, including staff, members and guests.
- Assist with monthly Golf Shop stocktakes.
- Have sound knowledge of all equipment stocked on the floor and understand the relevance to the game of golf.
- Engage in member conversations and build strong relationships to keep updated with any issues or feedback.
- Ensure all workplace health and safety are kept to a high standard
Our Operations department includes Golf, Food & Beverage and Accommodation therefore applicants with previous experience in these areas will be highly regarded.
The successful applicant will have previous experience within the retail or golf sales industry and is flexible to work across a 7 day roster. Experience with MiClub and SwiftPos is preferred.
