Job description

The Governance and Correspondence Officer is responsible for working closely across both the Office of the CEO and the Escalated Resolution and Correspondence team, providing services and support.
The role will be required to research issues, draft and review the quality, readability and accuracy of corporate correspondence as well as gather and analyse information and present it in a logical, systematic and clear format. It will also provide administrative support functions for the governance team and Senior Adviser in the Office of the CEO, including providing assistance with the preparation of high level presentations and sourcing of information from across different areas of the business.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
Mandatory:

  • High level written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience in issues analysis and resolution to inform the preparation of sensitive and confidential corporate correspondence
  • Experience in stakeholder and issues management
  • Good understanding of government protocols and processes
  • Ability to be proactive and responsive in both sourcing information and responding to urgent requests
Desirable:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification such as business, communications or information management.
  • Experience working within a Government context
This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2024. The work location for this position is Morwell or Melbourne CBD with hybrid work arrangements available.
