GP Vacancy in Timboon and Cobden VIC

2 x rural clinic located in South Western VIC are seeking 1-2 FTE GPs to commence work in October/November 2018.

Location No 1: Timboon 

About the Role:
This clinic is the only medical centre located in Timboon and is situated adjacent to the Timboon & District Healthcare Service 
It is a fully accredited (AGPAL) modern facility which was purpose built and opened in 2005 at its current located - featuring 
 9 consulting rooms 
 Large waiting area and smaller waiting area 
 Treatment room (with Hi/Low electric bed) 
 Dedicated practice nurse room - also doubles as send treatment room (with Hi/Low electric bed) 
 Ample parking and access for clients 
It is an accredited teaching practice with MCCC. All the current GP’s are fellowed (FRACGP) 

Operating Hours:
The Medical Clinic operates during the following hours 
Monday—Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm 
Saturday 9.30am – 11.30am 
The clinic facilitates 24 hour care for patients on a roster system shared by all the doctors. 
Each doctor currently provides 1 week night and 1 weekend per month on-call coverage. During the after-hours period the patients contact the Timboon & District Healthcare Service; the nursing staff triage all patients and contact the on-call doctor if required. 

Rate of Pay:
General Practitioner with FRACGP 70% 
General Practitioner without FRACGP 65% 
General Practitioner with level 2 or 3 supervision requirements 60% 
Hourly guarantee is also available.
There is a relocation package on offer and will be negotiated with the successful applicant (house and car)

Location No 1: Cobden

About the Role:
This Clinic is the sister clinic to Timboon and shares resources. General Practitioners are able to work between both the clinics or work solely in one depending on the requirements of the general practitioner 
It is a fully accredited (QPA) modern facility which was purpose built and opened in 2013 at its current located - featuring 
 3 consulting rooms 
 Large waiting area and smaller waiting area 
 Treatment room (with Hi/Low electric bed) 
 Ample parking and access for clients 
All the current GP’s are fellowed (FRACGP) 

Operating Hours:
Monday—Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm 
Saturday 9.30am – 11.30am

They are looking to recruit 1 or 2 general practitioners for their clinics at Timboon and Cobden 
Timboon is a 3 FTE clinic 
Cobden is a 2 FTE clinic 
The clinics operate independently and also share resources, therefore we are able to recruit a general practitioner who may want to work between both clinics 

Ideal for a husband and wife team 

Each clinic has an incentive package up to the value of $20,000 bring the total incentive up to $40,000
