GP + Hospital ED on-call
$2000 - $2400 p/day + travel, accommodation & car
We are seeking VR GPs with advanced emergency skills to provide coverage for a mixed billing general practice with on-call in the emergency department of the local Hospital in Tasmania. Hospital on-call is shared and the Locum will be attending to Cat 1 - 5 presentations.
About the Practice and the Hospital:
The general practice is a well-equipped, purpose-built facility with eight consulting rooms, a three-bay treatment room, a procedure room and on-site pathology.
The practices works cooperatively with the local Hospital for VMO services. The hospital has 19 acute care beds, an outpatient and emergency service, physiotherapy, radiology and visiting services. Aged care services are also provided to the local Health Centre.
Dates:
0800 9th October 2023 - 0830 16th October 2023 - $2300 PER DAY
0800 16th October 2023 - 0800 17th October 2023 - $2200 PER DAY
Weekly blocks from 23rd October 2023 to 18th December 2023 - $2000 PER DAY
0800 25th December 2023 to 0830 1st January 2024 - $2485 PER DAY
0800 1st January 2024 to 0830 8th January 2024 - $2428 PER DAY
Weekly blocks from 8th January 2024 to 5th February 2024 - $2000 PER DAY
Minimum one week blocks considered
Included:
Daily rate plus travel, car and accommodation
Essential Qualifications:
Specialist AHPRA Registration
Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners
Advanced Emergency Training and Emergency experience
