Job Description:
White Star Aviation's Armidale campus is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Grade 1 or 2 Flight Instructor who shares our passion for excellence in flight training. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing our students to become industry-ready pilots, emphasizing safety, proficiency, and skill development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct flight training sessions for students of varying skill levels, providing thorough instruction and guidance.
- Develop and implement customized training programs tailored to individual student needs and learning objectives.
- Deliver comprehensive pre-flight and post-flight briefings, ensuring students understand key concepts and safety protocols.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student growth and success.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and training activities.
Qualifications/Certificates Required:
- Current Instructor Rating with Grade 1 or 2 Training Endorsement.
- Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Highly regarded:
- Design Feature Training Endorsement.
- Instrument Rating Training Endorsement.
- Multi-Engine Training Endorsement.
Additional Requirements:
- New Zealand instructors may apply, provided the TTMRA conversion process has commenced prior to application.
- Compliance with the Company Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP) as mandated by CASA, including potential for random workplace testing.
- COVID vaccination is required in line with our vaccination policy.
