Grade 2- Casual Weekend Physiotherapists

• Based at both City and Royal Park campuses of the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH)
• Shift length 8 hours on Saturday and/or Sunday
• Work across a variety of areas to meet clinical care

The Physiotherapy team at the RMH are a dynamic and friendly team working together to provide excellent patient care. We enjoy a collaborative working environment to achieve patient goals.

We are looking to recruit new Grade 2 staff members to the following areas:

• Acute Care of the Elderly
• Acute Medical Unit
• General Medicine
• Neurosciences
• Inpatient rehabilitation

Please indicate in your application which areas you have a preference to work in.

Your new role:

• Competently and independently assess, treat and manage patients in acute and/or subacute health.
• Work across a variety of wards/caseloads.
• Prioritise clinical load based on daily demand. 
• Assist in achieving flexibility to meet clinical and workforce demands across a variety of clinical areas.

About you:

• You have a recognised degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy and professional registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• You have the ability to effectively prioritise and manage patient assessment, treatment and management in the acute and/or sub-acute setting.
• You demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• You are able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
