The Role:
An opportunity exists for a morivated Grade 2 Physiotherapistto join the team at Northern Health.
This Grade 2 Physiotherapistwill work in Community Therapy Services (CTS) based at Broadmeadows Hospital working with the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) population (people aged 65 or over), providing centre and home/community-based interventions, using an interdisciplinary approach.
This role is full time 80 hours per fortnight, long service leave cover from 01/07/2024 until 10/01/2025. Part time wil be considered.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Extensive experience and demonstrated expertise with complex community clients, particularly those over 65 years of age who have multiple comorbidities and may include history of falls /high falls risk
- Experience managing patients in the community (centre based and home based, individual therapy and group therapy)
- Demonstrated capability in service innovation and development.
- Demonstrates leadership skills and initiative in developing and promoting clinical care
- Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution
