The Role:
An opportunity exists for a Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join the Adult Rehabilitation Services team at Northern Health.
The Grade 2 Physiotherapist will have a leading role in ensuring excellence in client care and education of staff and team. They will provide high quality patient care to the Adult Rehabilitation service (SACS and VACS) at Craigieburn Centre. The role includes the organisation, implementation, development and supervision of physiotherapy care and the promotion of best practice.
This is a full-time position, 80 hours per fortnight, fixed term until 3 March 2025
About you:
- Experience managing musculoskeletal patients in the community setting
- A background which includes significant clinical experience and skills in musculoskeletal physiotherapy
- Proven capacity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills
- Experience and/or interest in the management and education of undergraduate physiotherapy students and junior staff
- Commitment to health promotion and health independence
- Demonstrated leadership skills and initiative in developing and promoting clinical care
