The Role:
An opportunity has become available for a driven and dynamic Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join the Transition Care team at Northern Health.
The Grade 2 Physiotherapist will have a leading role in ensuring excellence in client care and education of staff and students in the physiotherapy stream. The role encompasses the delivery of Physiotherapy services in the Transition Care Program. Care may be delivered in community, hospital and residential care settings.
This role is a part time (40 hours per fortnight) fixed term position until 28/10/24 with potential for extension beyond this date subject to staffing.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A background which includes significant clinical experience resulting in high level of skill in gerontology physiotherapy
- Experience managing patients in the community
- Experience and/or interest in the management and education of undergraduate physiotherapy students and Allied Health Assistants
- Demonstrated capability in service innovation and development
- Demonstrates leadership skills and initiative in developing and promoting excellence in clinical practice
