Seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join the Western Health Team as the Mental Health Senior Pharmacist - Grade 3 at an exciting time.
This is a Permanent, Full Time (80 hours per fortnight) position - Available Now
The Mental Health Senior Pharmacist leads, manages and coordinates the clinical pharmacy services provided to Mental Health patients at Western Health. This includes the:
Delivery of high quality services within their speciality
Coordination, orientation, training, development, supervision and empowerment of other professional and non-professional staff
Procedural, financial and quality assurance management functions in relation to pharmacy services provided
Maintenance of a specialised education portfolio
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic leader to join our friendly pharmacy team.
The successful applicant will have outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills, demonstrate a willingness to develop and maintain their own knowledge as well as contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of innovative Pharmacy services.
Applicants must be flexible and willing to work across all Western Health Campuses as required.
To be successful in this role you must:
Have experience and a proven record of achievement in providing pharmacy services to the Mental Health sector
Be able to support the education and operational activities of the department
Have excellent communication, interpersonal and information technology skills
Be able to assess financial and quality assurance data as well as develop and review policies and procedures
