About the Role:
We are currently looking for an experienced, qualified and dynamic A GradeElectrician to join our hard-working team based at Perth International Airport, Western Australia.
The role consists of five days per week on a day/afternoon/evening shift rotation with periodic on-call periods over the weekend and public holidays. You will be primarily maintaining Power Generator Systems (solid state), Nose In Guidance Systems, Preconditioned Air Systems, Aerobridges, as well as all areas of repairs, modification, commissioning, maintenance and test/tag functions in a dynamic airport working environment. Experience and knowledge of automation, power generation and air conditioning systems are mandatory.
You will report directly to our Service Manager based at Perth International Airport and work across a range of customer's and applications on site to deliver exceptional customer service on time and on budget, with responsibilities that are not limited to:
- Maintain company standards through your safe work practices and presentation.
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing our customers system's.
- Attend call outs where required.
- Assist with new installations and commissioning of a variety of airport equipment.
- Site testing, commissioning, fault finding.
Skills and Experiences:
- MUST reside in and be an Australian citizen.
- Must be a qualified and licensed A Grade Electrician in Western Australia with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Up to date and current Driver’s Licence is mandatory.
- Up to date forklift and EWP licence preferred.
- Have clear understanding and background in automation, power generation and air conditioning. Experience in an airport environment is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrate a highly disciplined level of professionalism, ethics and accuracy.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Possess clear written and verbal communication skills and be fluent with Microsoft Windows and Office suite.
- Be willing to undergo police background and criminal record checks with no criminal history
- Be willing to undergo random drug and alcohol testing.
