The mine site, location and facilities
Located in the Kalgoorlie region of WA this mine site has the luxury of a local air strip close to the mine and camp. The site also offers;-
- FIFO on Tuesdays from Perth (fly in during company time)
- Camp facilities close to the site, with a gym and social wet mess (large TV for sports)
- Mine site has a bright future ahead with a lengthy mine life
Your duties and responsibilities
You'll enjoy integrating into a well-connected team on site with a great culture. Reporting into the shift boss you will be responsible for;-
- Grading underground and surface roadways
- Operating CAT graders
- Assisting with nippering/ service crew/ general site TA work during grader downtime
The roster and hours
- Fly in Tuesday morning
- 7-day shifts, 7-night shifts (6 till 6 shifts)
- Fly home early Tuesday morning

Your skills and experience
With an excellent training and development focus, the business prides itself on shaping the best tradespeople in the industry. Key requirements include;
- CAT grader operations (civil or mining)
- Experience working on a FIFO roster and living away from home
- Excellent attitude towards learning and skills development
- Team player however can work autonomously (when trained up)
- Have an eagerness to work in the UG mining sector
- Looking for a role that offers FIFO with good earning potential (on a 2:1 roster)
- Safety first attitude
