This is a pivotal role within our organisation, responsible for managing and overseeing our Apprenticeship, Graduate and Cadetship programs across RTS. Our programs are designed to attract top talent and provide them valuable hands-on experience, training and mentorship to kick start their careers.
You will collaborate closely with HR, Universities, Tafes and Government bodies to ensure the success and continuous improvement of these programs. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our organisation by identifying and nurturing promising talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategy for the Apprenticeship, Graduate and Cadetship candidates in line with RTS business goals
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design and deliver training and development initiatives for program participants
- Build strong relationships with Universities, Tafes and Educational Institutions to attract top talent
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, reviewing and driving change for best practice programmes
- Ensure program participants are mentored and provided with the required ongoing support and career guidance
- Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations
- Prepare reports and presentations for management, showcasing program outcomes and achievements
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in Learning and Development/ HR or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in managing apprenticeships, graduates and cadetship programs; Exposure to Rollingstock advantageous
- Strong knowledge of industry frameworks, regulations and trends
- Demonstrated experience in program design, implementation and evaluation
- Passion for talent development and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment
